AACSB Accreditation Volunteers play a vital role in the foundation of AACSB accreditation and are essential in the peer reviewed accreditation process. These dedicated volunteers, who stem from the global community of AACSB-accredited schools, are significantly experienced in business education, provide individualized mentoring and quality reviews, and make decisions concerning schools that are seeking or continuing AACSB accreditation.
Accreditation volunteers share their expertise by mentoring individual institutions and serving on peer review teams. Volunteers also serve on committees to ensure that AACSB accreditation journey, standards and documentation from schools are reviewed fairly and consistently across all schools. This work requires the collaboration with mentors and peer review teams during the review process.
For business schools and students, the peer review and mentoring aspect of AACSB accreditation is significant. It provides expert consultative advice, as well as recognition and confirmation of high-quality by the business education community.
The collective strength of AACSB is founded on the participation of our volunteers. As a volunteer-driven organization, we bring together leaders in academia and industry to share knowledge and experience to enhance management education worldwide. AACSB volunteers continue to support and contribute to AACSB's mission every day.
